Summer Camps 2023

Keep your child’s imagination alive this summer by registering them to be a conductor and paleontologist! Our summer camps provide hands-on learning and indoor and outdoor exploration.

JUNIOR CONDUCTORS CAMP

Ages 6-9

The Junior Conductors Camp program is designed for train enthusiasts! Over the course of five days, junior conductors will learn all about trains through tours, models, stories, crafts and games, such as our latest escape train. This week long camp will culminate in a train-themed, off-site adventure!

JUNIOR PALEONTOLOGY

Ages 6-8

The Junior Paleontology program is designed to engage the most curious minds and active hands. Over the course of five days, junior paleontologists will learn about geology, evolution and extinction, fossils and paleontology as a whole through various crafts and games. This week long camp will culminate in a dinosaur-themed scavenger hunt at Elizabeth Lake.


PALEONTOLOGY ADVENTURES

Ages 9-11

Paleontology Adventures is an all new program designed to stimulate the next generation of scientists. Over the course of five days, the paleontologist adventurers will learn about geology, evolution and extinction, fossils and paleontology as a whole through various activities and experiments. This week long camp will culminate in a field day in Fort Steele for the young paleontologists to put their new skills to the test! * The field-day is subject to change.

Full Week Camp $250/child + GST
Full Week Camp$225/additional children (with the purchase of 1 child ticket) + GST

Camps run Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm.

For extra supervision, we can match your schedule if these pick up and drop off times do not work for you. For arrivals before 8:30am and after 4:00pm, there is an extra $5 fee per 15 minutes.

What to pack:

  • loose fitting comfortable play clothing that can get a little dirty
  • running shoes (no open-toed shoes please)
  • sunscreen
  • a hat (preferably wide-brimmed)
  • a clearly-labeled water bottle
  • a book or quiet activity for quiet time
  • appropriate dress on rainy days
  • a healthy lunch and snacks for throughout the day

*PLEASE NOTE: NO electronic devices are allowed at our youth summer camps.
