Cranbrook Historic Walking Tours

Join the Cranbrook History Centre for a leisurely walk around historic downtown Cranbrook and learn about what’s made this place the centre of the East Kootenay for over a century!

Our hour-long summer stroll will take you through history and back again. The tour starts at Colonel Baker’s home and circles the downtown area to finish at the Old Firehall opposite  Rotary Park. On the tour, you will gain an understanding of some of the challenges, failures and successes of Cranbrook and its residents in building up this city to the present day.

Every year we collaborate with a local downtown business to offer our Walking Tours visitors a treat! Keep an eye out to see who we’re working with this year.
