Our Gift Shop is the hidden gem of Cranbrook, featuring a variety of local products and vendors.

We aim to serve our whole community which is why we have carefully selected items for all ages to enjoy including books, souvenirs, kids’ discovery kits, and apparel. Community is at the forefront of everything we do at the Cranbrook History Centre, which is why our Gift Shop also hosts local artisans and businesses such as, Moody Bee, Kootenay Upcycle Designs, Sew Cranbrook, Busy Bree’s Wax Wraps, Cranbrook Crochet, and more. Blazing Bills is a woman-owned business located in Moyie. They produce high-quality (and delicious) hot sauces and condiments.
Viva Cacao is a women-owned business in the Kootenays. They use ethically sourced, fair trade, and organic ingredients in their chocolate bars and hot chocolate mix.
Cranbrook Crochet creates some of the cutest handmade goods in town. From plushies to wall hangings, this women-owned business has it all.
Kootenay Upcycle Designs takes textiles that would have otherwise gone to waste and gives them a new life! Their custom bags and mittens are the perfect accessories.
Moody Bee is based out of neighbouring community Kimberley. They are known for their luxurious beeswax lip balms and delicious honey.
Lost Tree Artwork by Rosalie Dureski uses natural materials as a canvas to create beautiful landscape paintings. Dureski is the artist behind the mural in our paleontology exhibit.
Tres Oui Designs is a woman-owned business that makes handmade tote bags and cards. She puts her hand-painted, collage, and digital print designs onto cards fit for any occasion.
Whispering Wick makes soy candles scented with all-natural essential oils and rolled beeswax stick candles perfect for creating an elegant ambiance with ingredients you can feel good about.
Busy Bree’s Wax Wraps are the perfect eco-friendly (and adorable) replacement for cling wrap. Busy Bree’s is a woman-owned business helping reduce plastic waste one wrap at a time.
