Trilobites of the Bull River Valley – Dr. Chatterton

The Cranbrook History Centre will be hosting a free public lecture by Dr. Brian Chatterton on Wednesday, August 9 at 7:00 PM. This lecture is part of our ongoing paleontology lecture series, and anyone is welcome to attend.

Dr. Chatterton, an expert on paleontology, received his Ph.D. from Australian National University and is currently a professor at the University of Alberta. During this lecture he will share his research findings on the different trilobite species found in the Bull River Valley, while also touching on other species of Canadian trilobites.

The lecture will take place in the museum’s Royal Alexandra Hall and will be followed by refreshments in the hall.
