Junior Paleontology off to a great start thanks to local donation

As we start the planning process for our Summer programs, the Cranbrook History Centre is happy to announce that we will be bringing back our Junior Paleontology Camp bigger and better than ever.

Due to the hard work of our 2020 summer students, and a generous donation from the Kootenay Prospectors and Miners Group, we will be offering a full-day activities for the kids who take part in our Junior Paleontology Camp this summer.

The Kootenay Prospectors and Miners Group donation is making it possible for us to introduce new activities to the camp, including paleontology based crafts and games to help kids learn more about the fascinating animals and plants that roamed the earth hundreds of millions of years before humans.

You can also expect the return of every kid’s favourite activity, rock breaking to find fossils for themselves.

Keep your eye out for our official summer camp announcement and registration opening in May, and be the first to sign up for our new and improved camp.
