The Forgotten Treasures of Sullivan Mine – Paul Ransom

The Cranbrook History Centre is hosting a  free public lecture by Paul Ransom on Thursday, September 28 at 7:00 PM. This lecture is part of our ongoing paleontology lecture series, and anyone is welcome to attend.

The lecture will focus on the geological aspect of the Sullivan Mine as well as the development of rocks in our region. Mr. Ransom, former project Geologist for the Sullivan Mine, has over 30 years of experience and now spends his retirement volunteering with East Kootenay Chamber of Mines.

The lecture will take place in the museum’s Royal Alexandra Hall and will be followed by refreshments.
