The Cranbrook History Centre is pleased to be hosting a free public lecture by Dr. Brian Chatterton on Wednesday, August 9 at 7:00 PM. This lecture is part of our ongoing paleontology lecture series, and anyone is welcome to attend.
The lecture will focus on trilobite species found in the Bull River Valley, but will also touch on other species of Canadian trilobites. Dr. Chatterton, an expert on paleontology, received his Ph.D. from Australian National University and is currently a professor at the University of Alberta.
The lecture will take place in the museum’s Royal Alexandra Hall and there will be refreshments afterwards.
